Agreement and eligibility. By enrolling in the SaferRing beta, you agree to these Beta Participation Terms and the Privacy Notice. You must be at least 18 years old and have authority over every phone line you enroll.
Two-week free beta. Beta access is free for 14 days beginning when SaferRing activates your screening service. No payment information is required. SaferRing may modify, suspend, limit, or end the beta at any time. Beta access does not guarantee future availability or pricing.
Experimental service and important limitations. SaferRing uses automated and AI-assisted screening to evaluate unknown callers for indicators associated with scams, fraud, and social engineering. Results may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. SaferRing does not guarantee that any call will be blocked or allowed correctly. You remain responsible for deciding whether to trust or act on any caller. SaferRing is not a substitute for your mobile carrier, emergency services, law enforcement, financial-security controls, or professional advice. Never rely on SaferRing for 911 or other emergency communications.
Recording, transcription, and caller notice. SaferRing is designed to record and transcribe only the screening interaction before a caller is connected. Beta participants consent to that processing. Callers must receive a clear notice that an AI assistant is screening the call and that the screening may be recorded and transcribed. Recording should begin only after legally valid consent. Connected conversations are not intended to be recorded as part of this beta. You are responsible for using SaferRing lawfully in every applicable jurisdiction and for obtaining all required permissions and consents.
SaferRing Beta Participation Terms
5) Permission to contact you. You authorize SaferRing to contact you at the email address and phone number you submit for beta onboarding, operation, support, safety notices, and feedback. Calls or texts may use automated technology. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may withdraw by contacting support@saferring.com, although withdrawal may end your beta participation.
6) User responsibilities. You must provide accurate information, safeguard access to your account and devices, promptly report suspected misuse, and follow all applicable laws. You may not use SaferRing for unlawful surveillance, harassment, impersonation, interception, discrimination, abuse, or deception.
7) Data and feedback. SaferRing’s collection and handling of signup information, call metadata, screening audio, transcripts, and related information are described in the Privacy Notice. If you provide product feedback, SaferRing may use it to evaluate and improve the service without payment or restriction, but you should not include information you do not have permission to share.
8) Disclaimer of warranties. THE BETA IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFERRING DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY.
9) Limitation of liability. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFERRING AND ITS AFFILIATES, PROVIDERS, AND PERSONNEL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES. THEIR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE BETA WILL NOT EXCEED $100. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so these limits apply only to the extent allowed by law.
10) Indemnity. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SaferRing and its affiliates, providers, and personnel from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use, failure to obtain required consent, violation of another person’s rights, or breach of these Terms.
11) Suspension and termination. Either party may end beta participation at any time. SaferRing may immediately restrict or terminate access for safety, legal, security, operational, or abuse concerns. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12) Changes and contact. SaferRing may update these Terms and will provide notice of material changes when reasonably practicable. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions or withdrawal requests: support@saferring.com.
These Terms cannot eliminate every legal risk and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before a public launch.
